Microdermabrasion

Shower your skin in fine diamond crystals.

Microdermabrasion delivers a steady powerful stream of sterile microparticles that abrade or rub off the very top skin layer. The particles and abraded cells are then vacuumed off the surface of your skin, revealing the glowing new layer beneath.

Dermabrasion is non-invasive, produces minimal discomfort, requires no topical or local anaesthesia, has virtually no complications and involves practically no downtime.

Soften and Resurface

A series of microdermabrasion treatments improves dull skin texture by gently resurfacing the superficial skin layers, softening and modifying fine lines on the forehead and around the mouth, and polishing and reducing fine lines on the cheeks generally caused by aging and sun damage.

Pigment changes or skin discolouration can be improved, enlarged pores contracted, clogged pores exfoliated and suctioned out, and the margins of acne and burn scars smoothed.

Microdermabrasion can be used in conjunction with other skin renewal modalities, such as Retin-A therapy or chemical peels.

Contact our trained staff for more information about how microdermabrasion can have you looking your best.

The Programme

A minimum of five initial treatment visits is usually required to achieve optimum results. Sessions are conducted 7 to 10 days apart.

Ongoing maintenance sessions will be needed.

The consultant at the Sydney Skin Institute was very throrough and patient in explaining the product range, what it could do, and the ultimate benefits to my skin and results I could achieve...The Cosmedix range has achieved what no dermatologist has been able to achieve in almost 20 years!
