Dr Hunt's Achievements
Dr Jeremy A. Hunt MBBS FRACS. It only takes 10 seconds to say those letters, but it takes 6–10 years to earn the right to put them after your name.
Training
Dr Hunt first undertook general medical training before choosing to specialise in Plastic Surgery. He studied Plastic Surgery in Sydney and then completed a further year of training at the prestigious University of Texas, in Dallas, USA, working with some of the leading Plastic Surgeons in America.
Dr Hunt is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery.
Voluntary work
As well as providing his expertise and understanding to his patients in Sydney, Dr Hunt is involved in Interplast a voluntary organisation that treats disadvantaged children in developing countries. He has performed surgery in The Dominican Republic, Belize and countries in South East Asia.
Sharing knowledge
Dr Hunt routinely writes international articles, and gives presentations to share his knowledge and expertise with other Plastic Surgeons. His contributions to the advancement of Plastic Surgery include internationally published reviews of the latest research and techniques in the fields of breast augmentation, face-lift, and craniofacial surgery.
He is currently on the Editorial Board of the prestigious journal Selected Reading in Plastic Surgery.
